"Together, Unapart" plays with changing the orientation, placement and scale of classic shirt signifiers to explore to what extent the traditional shirt needs to be altered to reach the point where it is no longer considered a shirt. Lines and shapes within the garment originate from subtractive collages made using shirt silhouettes and images of historic moments in the history of the shirt along with enlarged images of technical features.
